About Katakamuna
Katakamuna is said to have been an advanced civilization in Japan long before the Jomon period.
They used a script called the Katakamuna characters, which consists of 48 phonetic symbols believed to capture the resonances of the universe, each carrying its own consciousness.
These symbols were arranged into spiral-shaped diagrams known as the Katakamuna Utahi, comprising about 80 verses. These verses are said to convey the essence of the cosmos and the origins of life through a study of cosmic patterns.
When the names of family members or groups are layered together, they form shapes called Yata no Kagami, symbolizing a harmonious and self-sustaining team.
To embody this resonance in a tangible form, we created jewelry. Katakamuna characters also include composite symbols made by layering phonetic symbols. By layering all the characters of your own “Na” (name), the design captures the vibration of your entire being, integrating the various aspects of your consciousness into a powerful energy.
