Beginner Class
This class covers the basics of crystal bowls — what they are, how to choose one, and how to play it.
It is designed for those who are selecting their first crystal bowl, as well as for those who already own one and wish to expand their collection in the future.

We offer a variety of courses for those who want to learn about crystal bowls.
Crystal Bowl Performance Class
This course, led by mogmin —a crystal bowl performer and expert crystal bowl buyer— teaches everything you need to know to play the crystal bowls beautifully, from the basics of music theory to how to create and play pleasant harmonies.
Currently, lessons are offered to those who have purchased their bowls from MAMMA MIA, following the curriculum below.
(Those planning to purchase a crystal bowl are also welcome to join.)
Curriculum
Duration: 1 day (total 6 hours including a 1-hour break)
Time: 11:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Depending on questions, practice, and conversation, the class may run a little long, so please plan to allow for some extra time.
The lesson covers everything from playing techniques and understanding harmony structure to practical methods for performing with your own crystal bowls.
In one intensive session, you’ll learn what is usually taught separately in beginner, intermediate, and advanced crystal bowl seminars.
During the class, personalized coaching and individual assessments are provided to help you understand your unique style and energy.
We provide individual coaching and check the characteristics of your bowl as we teach. This will eliminate any doubts about whether you are playing the bowl properly, allowing you to focus more on the crystal bowl and your own state of mind when you return home.
Rather than spreading lessons over many short sessions, this one-day intensive helps you connect all the dots at once.
Afterward, you can continue improving your skills through your own practice.
We also provide follow-up sessions (within 1 week to 1 month) to answer any questions or review key points.
If needed, we can also offer additional online sessions for further support.
(Lesson fees and duration for follow-ups may vary depending on content — for example, if combining with astrology study or reviewing techniques.)

MAMMA MIA also offers ongoing support and consultation for your performance activities, so you can continue with peace of mind.

– Performer Profile –
After 20 years of unexplained infertility treatments and repeated miscarriages, she gave birth to her second child at the age of 45. Soon after, she faced the overlapping challenges of caring for her parents, raising her children, relationship difficulties, and being diagnosed with breast cancer.
Having experienced many of the struggles unique to women, she began a journey of self-exploration through both psychology and spirituality — a path that ultimately led her to encounter crystal bowls.
The soft, transparent, and healing tones of the crystal bowls brought deep emotional release, helping her to let go of past pain through the power of sound. Moved by this profound experience, she became a crystal bowl performer herself.
Now, as a Crystal Bowl Therapist and a performer of Awakening and Awareness, she offers heart-centered activities such as healing concerts, meditation sessions, and talks that help people reconnect with themselves. She also organizes community gatherings and workshops to empower women to “shine as their authentic selves.”
Her work extends to hospitals, sacred performance offerings at places such as Izumo Taisha Shrine (Shimane) Misogi-no-Miya Shrine (Mie) and other diverse venues.
